Doomadgee State School is located in the north western corner of Queensland, approximately 120 km east of the Northern Territory border. There are 340 students enrolled at the school from PrePrep to Year 10. We have a teaching staff of 28 which includes the Principal, Deputy Principal, Head of Department, Head of Curriculum, Numeracy Coach, Support Teacher Literacy and Numeracy, Special Education Program and Guidance Officer.

At Doomadgee State School we focus on the following four key elements:

Doomadgee State School has contributed $1.5 million toward a trade training centre at Spinifex College in Mount Isa.  It is envisaged that students of Doomadgee will be able to access this centre to further expand their educational opportunities in the future when the centre is complete and programs in place.
